The Christmas Fair is held in early December and is a merry celebration of all things festive. Visitors to the Fair are greeted by the angelic voices of St David’s College pupils singing favourite carols in the school entrance.
This event is really one for the children with a Chocolate Tombola, the Money Tree, a visit to Santa’s Grotto, a chance to buy those special presents for family and friends in the Secrets Room, mountains of toys and books to be bought in Santa’s Toyshop, Christmas crafts to make and take home.
Parents and grandparents recover in the Tea Room (and the grown ups can always try their luck on the Bottle Tombola or stock up on gifts at the Christmas Garden Stall – with a variety of vintage style gifts, home-made crafts, preserves and things for the garden. It’s also a chance for everyone to try and win one of the many fantastic raffle prizes.
After a fun and busy afternoon, everyone can take home a copy of St David’s College PTA Christmas Quiz – something to get those grey cells working after the Christmas Day turkey and sprouts!!
