This event is a highlight of the PTA calendar and offers a family evening with a spectacular and professional fireworks display set to popular music.
There will be delicious food, snacks, mulled wine and other drinks on offer throughout the evening. Glo-sticks and other novelty items, which are always very popular with the children, will also be on sale.
A tradition of St David’s College has been the parade of the House Guys made by the children from each of David, Justin and Oak houses, a bonfire and a torch-lit procession by the house teams.
As with all PTA events, lots of help is needed on the preceding Friday and Saturday to prepare the field, on Saturday evening at the event (as part of the firing team, safety marshalls, food and drink servers) and on Sunday to clear up and make the field safe for the children returning to school on Monday) – so your support is always very much appreciated as ‘many hands make light work’ and makes the jobs quicker for all concerned.
